Bell Time

Often overlooked in the Buffoon discography, Bell Time offers not only 14 amazing tracks, but also a rarity for Foons albums; a live version of a track. Drift Away had been featured on a few older albums, and when the 2010 group went to produce this album, they realized that during the recording process, some of that energy that was present at shows was missing from the album. They realized they needed to bring the shows to the album, and so it was. Drift Away was recorded in front of a live audience at the 2009 fall concert and was mixed for release.

Bell Time, in our world, is our meeting time before we leave for shows. Bell, as we call it, is the spot near the UMC where you will sometimes see many well-dressed gentlemen, warming up their voices, while others frantically run up. No one ever wants to be late for Bell.
